First of all, everybody, while I'm not naive enough to believe that you're hanging on my every word, I sincerely apologize for the lack of blogging. Somehow we're still not done moving yet, plus arjkl;lnsadf MIDTERMS. I am so sick and tired of homework I can't even make a decent joke about it. Love college, love my classes, but holy motherbleepin' Katniss, Peeta, and Gale, enough with the homework already. I haven't even managed to finish a book this week, which I don't think has happened since I learned to read, but I did make it most of the way through Questionable Content's archives, which besides reminding me how much I love Iron & Wine and Sufjan Stevens should count for something, right? In between sleeping and milking my goat (not a euphemism) and sleeping, I'll be scheduling tons of posts over spring break, I promise.
Other than that, I would like to draw attention to something really wonderful that I was invited to be a part of - First Book Blogger Book Club. You can read about First Book's mission here, and I can't even tell you how excited I am to be promoting something I believe in this much. I wasn't able to participate in February's book club choice, which was Slam by Nick Hornby, but I certainly hope to be able to get my book lovin' paws on March's title. If you'd like to know more about First Book, allow me to direct you to their blog, and let's keep spreading the literacy love!
Beyond that, I shall do my best to put up an In My Mailbox/sadly empty Read This Week post tomorrow, and I hope you all are having a less hectic time of it than I am!
Now Listening: "The 12th of September" by Xavier Rudd

Back in high school, I was an avid QC reader, and the creator introduced me to tons of great music that I still listen to to this day. :D Awesome stuff. Haven't read in a few years though.
And this First Book Blogger Club looks excellent. I'll definitely check it out. :)
Haha, the obscure music references are definitely a plus! =) I think four hours of reading got me about a third of the way through the archives. I'll catch up eventually. I'm honored to have been invited to the First Book Blogger Club, as well.
