Review policy

I love getting review requests! Please send them to me at mdesmondobrien@gmail.com, bearing in mind the following things:

• I review teen books in any genre if they interest me, though I prefer contemporary and sci-fi. 
• In a change from my previous review policy, I am now reviewing adult books, but I tend to be choosier than with my teen reads and try to find ones with a teen bent.
• I no longer accept review requests for middle grade books in any genre on behalf of my younger sister for our Middle Grade Monday feature. Middle Grade Monday has been discontinued.
• I do accept indie books, but just like my mainstream reads, they have to get my attention.
• I prefer review copies in PDF or EPUB formats, but am happy with hard copies, too.
• I have a strict no-piracy policy here at the blog. Book piracy is stealing an author's hard work. Buy it, borrow it from the library, or suck it up. End of story.
• Finally, I'm a college student, and if you've ever been there, you'll know why I can't guarantee any review, as excited as I may be about your book. Sorry! Do feel free to send me an email and follow up if I still haven't reviewed a book three months after having received it.
